Take it back to the dealer: There is a "harness" in both front doors that they can insulate and correct this issue... I had the same problem, slight (but loud) buzzing/itching sound from both front doors - unrelated to speed.

I'm really sad lately. Its warm and now my dash creaks worse then ever. Originally the problem was above the dash where the window meets, and in cold weather. I brought it in for repair, and it was never fixed and I gave up. But now its warm and its bad, and it never used to be bad in warm weather. Its driving me crazy.

do what the person above did.

shove something thick in that gap.

if that doesn't work, run it off the brooklyn bridge and claim total loss.

Yeah I never had any creaking in the dash itself. Just where the windshield and dash met, during cold cold weather. Now its all around the navigation area (I think), some rattles coming from the left side door and right side door maybe too. I try so hard to ignore it but sometimes I want to punch the navigation in a fit of rage. Just pisses me off I never had these problems in my Honda Accord but I spend all this money on a Lexus and its driving me crazy. What worries me is 2 years from now, how bad will it rattle then since it seems to be getting worse as time goes by.

it sounds like you compounded the problem when you had the dealer take your dash apart.

these days, even cheap hondas rattle. I don't think you'll ever be happy whether you spend $20k or $50k

I asked this question earlier, but didn't get a response:

I'm looking at upgrading my front speakers. If I get this work done, am I likely running the same risk of introducing/compounding dash rattles?

Thanks for your help!

The older the GS3 gets, the worse is yet to come on the interior noise issue.

All the plastic parts, plastic pins are contributing to the problem. I was inspecting the engine a couple days ago, and i noticed progressively loosening engine plastic covers- i will replace a couple of these dang plastic pins. The engine heat is also contributing to the brittleness of the pins which in turns loosens their grip on the plastic panels. Just imagine all the plastic interior pieces held together these way......

It's going to be an "old creaking-ship" later.

you could take all the plastic covers off and leave them off.

i wonder if that will really improve the heat dissipation much

It start with the dash creak in the cold weather for me too, 10 months and 2 weeks in the dealer's shop later, I still have the dash creak, but not as bad as before the felt job. The bad news is that right before I sold the car, it had develop rattles in the sunroof area, multiple panels on the driver's door, ticking noise from the drop down control box and on top of the windowshield and rattles from the top of the fronts doors.
I have own 3 other Lexus and have not had one rattle in all 3 cars. Sure BMW have rattle issue too, but not as wide spread as the GS.
