thanks again
AFAIK there is no off the shelf intake for the 06+ GS430. A few guys seem to have some success adapting the Injen/SRT intakes for the previous-gen GS430 but some others also have problems with check engine lights etc.

The only intake I'm aware of that is commercially available for 06+ GS430 is the Blitz SUS Power, which is just a pod at the end of the stock intake tube, rather than a full intake kit.

yeah the install did take some time because the instructions were not perfect.. however, i did get it in after 2 hours of just trying to figure out what piece is for what.. i guess it doesnt help to do it in a dim area in the rain.. but i couldnt wait..

result: THIS BABY GROWLS!!! the pickup is amazing and i love it!! best bang for the buck so far imho..

sounds the same, the sound is because the cone filter elimantes all the baffling. I have been waiting and waiting for a solution. I was looking at the powersport box (factory option) on my porsche and they got sound by basically drilling a bunch of holes in the plastic before the filter to allow it to get some sound. I though about that, but warranty prevented that thought. I need some sound!
