On the 3rd Gen, how do you remove the door caps at the bottom of the doors? I see slots on the inside of the doors, but is there a clip release there, or some other method to remove?

 

i removed them but its a pain in the @ss to not break the clips. you need a removal tool to not break them but i didnt know where to get one. i broke a bunch of clips thinking i would just go to the dealer and buy them but they dont sell them seperatly. try a body shop they might have the tool

 

edit, sorry i read the post wrong and thought you were talking about the door handles
