When I come to an abrupt stop, my engine has one jolt. It feels like the RPM drops below the usual idle level as if the car is going to turn off. It doesn't do this all the time, only sometimes.

Anyone know what is the cause of this?

Ummmmmmm maybe from you stopping so abruptly??

 

Abrupt stops aren't suppose to cause the engine to jerk with an RPM drop. The car jerks several seconds after I hit the brakes. I know it's not from the braking.

 

I think it is a tranny software glitch. I get it sometimes, but my SA is no help.

 

Yeah my uncle who works at a Land Rover dealership told me that it was probably a software glitch. He said to have the software updated.

 

Last time I asked, there were no updates.
