maybe this foam pipe insulation might work?

My pump department buys it to dampen the rotary pump vibration.
I don't know where but I can ask around.
The foam pipe insulation won't work because it's too hard and will make noise when the dashboard pushes against it.

Talking about the coil spring, my GS experiences a rear sagged on the driver side, about 3/4 inch comparing with the other side. Lexus said it's within the specs. Anyone has the same symptom?

Yep they all sag more on the driver side there is more weight on that side. The car is not perfectly balanced on the suspension and each spring isn t designed to accomodate for uneven weight distribution. This is why I got coilovers so that I can have the ability to adjust and compensate for this.

I learned that lesson the hard way when I had to switch from my Tein H tech springs to the Tein CST with EDFC. The coilovers are the best way to drop the car

I got my car back (2008 GS350 AWD) for rattles between windshield and dash over rough road surface. My car was in shop since Tuesday 2/11. The rattles are worse when the temperature is low like 30s. The technician found L-SB-0040-08 TSIB (Instrument Panel Rattle). Here is the work description: Instrument panel rattle due to worn clips. Performed TSIB and replaced dash pads and insulated panel sub-components.

Qty FP number Description
5 55328-48110 Stay. Instrument
1 08231-00801 Noise Kit

I thought the TSIB is for 2006 and 2007. That's how it indicates in the TSIB. Anyway, so far so good. I don't hear any rattle anymore. Hopefully, this does fix the rattle.

Default Winter Rattles

My local dealer applied that TSIB to my 2007 GS and that took care of the rattles from that part of the car. I noticed there was an occasional rattle from near the sunroof area, but it wasn't annoying enough to have the dealer take a look at it. When the GS was in for the valve repair in December, I used my warranty work related discount coupon and traded in the GS for an 11 RX/AWD. We enjoyed the GS during the four years of ownership (purchased in fall 2006).

Need-a-fix-rattling-noise

My 07 GS 350 during car vibrations rattles from left side of the speedometer dash, left side screen dashboard(temp, audio, panel area) & sunroof not sure where the noise coming from but if i OPEN the sunroof halfway the rattles goes away. When sunroof is UP the rattles is random. I'm assuming the noise is the folding brace or the springs.

Anyone know how to fix it or a place? The rattles is kinda getting annoying so i had to higher my audio volume.....

TY!

You know how I fixed my GS350 rattles????????????

I bought an LS460

I had the dash removed 4 times in my GS350. I had the door panel removed once each side. I also had to have them address the sun roof rattle. That never got close to resolved. It was more fun to drive than the heavy LS460 but I almost forgot what it was like to drive a car that didnt rattle or squeak. Dont get me wrong, then Gs is a great car, but they do need to improve the insulation and rattle resistance
