Here's the list of the TSB's on the '08 GS350 and it doesn't look like they've acknowledged this issues as common yet on the '08s the '06's though they have TSB's for all these problems.

I just looked up TSB's on a BMW 530xi and they have one for a faulty electric water pump causing the car to overheat. They have a nice one about a leaking internal transmission pump that won't allow it to change gears. Plus they have the brake squeaks and interior rattles. I'm pretty happy with my choice on Lexus even if there are a few rattles once an awhile.

Now I'm not a BMW hater here I'm just trying to give a comparative reference.

I have notice Lexus have really try to cut down the amount of TSB being release. You can see the same trend in all their models. The good news is that they will still fix program on the 08 and 09 even if the TSB is for 07 and earlier. On the other hand, just because they didnt release a TSB for the 08 and the 09, it doesnt mean the problem doesnt exist.

tighten the bolts of the undercarriage, or else your seat may fall through the floor while you're driving

I never had any rattles until last week. One day I get serious rattles from the door and dash. It went away and did not return but it scared the heck out of me. I wonder if my sub has anything to do with it. Maybe it shook something loose.
My wife says she has rattles all the time in her car but I think most of it comes from the CD's she keeps everywhere.
I'm not really concerned. I have music on so much I don't notice a thing.
