how do you get to the Diagnostic Menu on an 08 GS

you can't, only from the diagnostic computer at dealers

Have you tried Display menu screen? Touch top left corner, bottom left corner and repeat this few times? Not sure about 08, on 07 this works.

^^ Well I can confirm that this *does* work on my '08 GS350 - must be a GS460 thing
Only thing I can't figure out is how to exit this screen, short of turning off the ignition. You can also get into the Nav menu and see how many birds in the sky you're tracking and also the exact GMT. . .

i also tested last night, the diagnostic menu is available
socal, to exit, press and hold DISP

i did the up and down testing like 6 times then it went into the diagnostic

lol yea.. totally, and i did it on the way to work and I couldn't exit that stupid thing!
so I drove 20+ miles to work, without music.. without anything!
listen to the tiny rattles on the car wasn't pleasant at all..
I hate this diagnostic thing, I might've been confused with the NAV Override menu on the 06 GS

me too. that was a diagnostic menu of sorts but had the override feature. this one doesnt.

Another newbie question. What can one do with this screen?
