Lexus of Cerritos sucks, had 2 bad experiences - will not give them a chance for a 3rd. See if you can get out of the maint contract with a full refund. You're much better off at another Lexus dealer. I wouldn't even recommend Cerritos for the comp 5k service . . .

There's usually no basecoats for the metallics, micas or pearls. Starfire needs a basecoat and clearcoat because it's a 3 stage paint that is difficult to match. Hence the need for a base coat then the pearl coat.
