Tire Feedback
I took off my iForged wheels last week and re-installed my stock 17" wheels. Whoa, what a difference!
- The stock wheels ride quality is so much smoother
- I believe the car handles better
- No vibrations (this was the best part)
- No rubbing
- Gas mileage is great (27-29mpg), compared to ~22mpg with the big wheels
I'm thinking of installing Pirelli PZero Nero 235/30/20 and 285/25/20 tires (25.6" rolling diamters) to get the OD's closer to stock.
I believe this would improve my gas mileage and significantly reduce any rubbing. The 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 (26.8") rolling diameters are more than +3% of the stock OD.
With the AWD system I need to keep the rolling diameters the same.
Any thoughts?
Does anyone knows where I can get a set of 06-07 GS430 18" stock wheels?
