have fun with it. I am going to do coilovers soon, but yes I do feel a litle guilty about the money bec the car is already lowered. If I wanted to really save money I coiuld just have the guy at the shop switch the springs around right to left and that will allow me to get rid of the drop asymmetry that is really bothering me. The handling I am learning to live with.

 

Well, saving it still leads in the polls by a huge margin. That's probable what I'll do. Maybe buy a flat screen TV but that's a huge maybe. I'm not into fancy TV's. I haven't bought a home stereo in over 10 years....which is unbelievable to everyone I know.

I did not intend on ticking anyone off by giving an honest opinion. I am very excited about trading my RX400H for the GS450H and I came here to talk about it, I have nothing against making a car look better but in many cases modifications cheapen the look of a car. I absolutely love the look of the wheels on my 2008 GS450H and I would not trade them for anything else if someone paid me $4,000. As far as body kits go I don't know much about what is out there for a Lexus but I have owned many different Corvettes [I still own a 1962 and a 1996 Vette] and just about every body kit made it look worst. However When I bought my new 1998 Vette I hated the wheels on it, they looked like they came off a horse driven stage coach. So the following year when they came out with the 1999 wheels I made it a priority to get new wheels.

As far as coilovers go, I have taken engines apart and rebuilt them but didn't know what they were and I was honest and admitted I didn't know what they were, I thought the may be something for the ignition coil. I did check and discovered what they are but since my car has a switch to adjust the ride I don't think it would be a good idea.

Now if someone hates cops they are entitled to their opinion but during my career as a cop I have saved a few lives, pulled people out of wrecks and got to a few homes were a criminal had broken in and caught the intruder possibly saving the women who were alone in the house a terrible fate. Not a single person in all the 20 years I was a cop had anything to say about hate after I saved them. You can hate all you want but I rest easy at night with the knowledge that in small way I made this world a better place for those people I was able to help and lives I saved.

Alright, I got the money, over 5K!
I went over to the wheel shop to look around. You know how it is....feels cool to walk and and drop full cash when you want....makes the salemen drool. I kept thinking about the poll. Save it....save it....save it....kept ringing in my head. I put it all in the bank and that's where it will stay.
I'll tell you all this, in a couple months I'm expecting a 3K bonus. I'm blowing that baby. That poll thread won't even have "save it" as an option. You all know how it goes. Mod or die!
