I am 18 and yes my parents did help me buy it but I have to pay for the insurance, service, and any mods. Didn't understand what the big deal about insurance was until I started payiing for it but when my friends see another GS they always make fun of the fact a grandma is driving it, no offense to anyone.

So they nicknamed my GS (Grandma Sport)

lol

When we where about to get the GS my choices where bewteen the Subaru 2007 Sti, 2007 BMW 335i, Lexus IS350, and Lexus GS350.

I really wanted the STI but it was a negitive since it was stick. The 335i just had a dull interior compared to Mercedes or Lexus and didn't seem has nice after driving the GS350. The IS350 was a great car but there where just way to many in our city. The GS350 was perfect, very rare to see on the streets, very luxurious interior, just something about it I loved. So we bought it right before the 2008's came out.

The I soon noticed alot of people my age on Clublexus also have a 3rd gen GS or IS350/IS250.

Agree - if you want to ask this very personal question, please make a post with a (non-public) poll with ranges.
