I got a blanket, wine opener, a few nice Lexus pens, a flashlight pen, a couple of thermo cups, CD/DVD holder, a Lexus clock, 2 Lexus key chains . . . . . but no Lexus leather jacket , & that's for a LS460L Exec.Package
OK, they threw in a set of all weather mats, but I think they do that for everybody . . .
Well, what does everyone "think" they should have received then??? And do you think the gift should be reflective of the type of vehicle purchased. <price point>
Lexus costs a lot more up in Canada due to import taxes... so I'd expect the dealers to throw in a little something extra for the price premium!
You'd think that, but aside from the two ugly keychains I will never use, I got nothing. Ok fine, I got a bottle of water too. In the stealership's defence, our invoice prices on a GS350 AWD is actually higher than the MSRP on the same model in the US, so I place blame on Toyota Canada. Oh, and here's the kicker: this is with a $8000 drop in MSRP for MY 2008. Yes, that means in 2007 the GS was approximately $18,000 more expensive in Canada than in the US. /rant

hmm... my car in Taiwan is about $98,500 in today's currency so that's about $45,000 more than the US
that's not even the worst, in Singapore where they only have the GS300, it costs $144k USD
