Try searching the 2nd gen IS forum. There is video of an IS owner who discovered that if you move the gear shift lever to Reverse while driving foward it activates the rear camera without hurting the transmission. That said I have not had the nerve to try it.

 

I don't know about that , who is going to through their car in reverse while driving ? That sounds crazy.... (no offense to you)

I have seen hardcore NSX crews in japan where a couple of the owners had a screen on top of the dash that acted like a rearview mirror. very very cool

Check the 2IS threads This is a member on here and there was a thread. Throwing your car in R while moving will put the camera on. Well it worked on the 2IS as someone was brave enough to try it out. Here is the video link on YouTube for it

yea someone already mentioned that in this thread and thats not something i will be doing lol. it seems from the video though he put the car half way between netural and reverse.
