Default Putting Staggered 20's on 06 GS 430

I just purchased my 06 GS 430 and am having a hard time finding wheels to fit the car. I keep hearing that I can't stagger 20's because the 430's brakes are big and wont fit many rims and that I must go custom to make it work. Has anyone else heard the same thing? I'm working with this really kool guy from D2autosports as well as a few other dealers throughout the NY-VA area. Thanks in advance to your replies. P.S. I love your cars. I am hoping to be able to hook mine up like you guys in the immediate future. I have my eyes on the Donz Bonanno but I was informed that it wouldn't work. Does anyone have any opinions on wheels in that style that would work. I'm trying to go the conservative route.

Staggered 20s are what most people are putting on their 3rd gen GSs. I have yet to pick my set out, but it will be what I choose.
There are many different brands that are available for our cars. Derrick at D2 is awesome to work with, I have already spoken to him for some ideas. Sure maybe they are "custom" in the sense that they have to be built to your car, but that way you ensure the correct fitment and lip and offset you want.
Derrick should be able to give you many options that will fit in all price ranges. You just may have to wait for them to be delivered.

Im sure many others on here can share their rim buying expierence. Also, read the 3GS mod thread for a bunch of info.

The fronts on the v8 models have larger calipers, so that's why you typically have more shallow wheels on the front. The rear you can definitely stuff larger width and get more dish effect. Aka 20x8.5 and 20x9.5
