The only fix that worked for me was to get rid of the car..... I had a 07 GS350 and had the dealership tear out the dash 3 separate times. The fix would last about 2 weeks, before the creaking would start again. That was my last Lexus......Never again!
. I now have a 2011 Genesis and a 2014 Genesis.... Much better cars and as quiet as when I bought them new...... Love them !
I wouldn't judge an entire brand off of a single car. Our cars are notorious rattletraps, but the models before and after are pretty much silent in comparison. My '95 SC400 was a tank, and even after multiple accidents, the thing never had a single rattle or squeak in it. Same goes for my parents' 2014 RX350, my brother's past IS 300, and basically every 2012+ that I've been in. 2006-2011 weren't the best years for Lexus, but they're still great cars overall. Maybe they'll make another car that appeals to you again some day Take a new GS for a spin sometime, I would definitely get one over my car if I were to base it off of the interior alone... I just love my V8 too much to get rid of it.
^ The GS-F is calling your name ha. I already plan on one in 2-3 years depending on depreciation, and if it is anything like the RC-F will mean a screaming deal
