what kind of discounts on 08 GS350awd prices D.C. metro area
#2
Nobody! Buying a Lexus in DC area is like throwing money down the toilet. There are too many rich people here, willing to pay MSRP or close. Just go two hours away from DC and you'll save thousands. I went all the way to New York and got GS450h for under invoice. Nobody locally would discount more than a thousand.

Best Price On GS in D.C. Metro Area
Killer GS4,
I got my '06 GS300 AWD in Feb. 06 from Lindsay in Alexandria. I used Edmunds.com to request quotes from the area dealers in VA & MD. Lata Sathur at 703-931-3000 & her internet sales mgr (can't recall his name now) came closest to my request for $500 - $800 over dealer invoice price. I live by Pohanka Lexus (Chantilly, VA), but they played games. Lindsay responded by e-mail that they could do it with car equipped as I wanted it (I got the 5-spoke 18" wheels from a GS430) for $870 over inovice. No drama when I got to the dealership. Paperwork was done within 30 minutes. Easiest car purchase I've had to date. Give them a try!

In NJ, 08 GS350AWD MSRP around $50,500.00 before taxes and all other fees paid $45,500.00 and I think that's high..... On the phone other dealers where offering below invoice for cars in stock..... My dealer did not have any and I had to wait few weeks.

Rx300force, did I hear you right? You were offer below invoice price on a 08 GS350 in New York. Thats pretty hard to do. Most dealers here in MA cant even keep the GS on the lot. The only time I have heard of below invoice prices were at the close out of the 07 year models.

That is correct.
1 NJ dealer offered below invoice and they has about 5 on the lot (few weeks ago) I had to pick up the from the lot by week ending 1/23. I just did not want to drive 80miles south.
I contacted number of dealers via e-mail, had them e-mail me final offers. The dealer where I got the car is just few miles away from my house......

Hey KillerGS4
I just took delivery of my 2008 GS 350 AWD last thursday, January 31, as the dealer had to find and have my color shipped in, and I paid $46,500 including the ML system, then ofcourse add the tax, title and dealer fees from Lexus of Silver Spring.
I also used Edmunds and got into a bidding war between 2 dealers via email. The other dealer who actually beat that price was Lexus of Towson with $46,000 plus the $400 to aquire the car, but I decided to go with Silver Spring for $100 more as they are only 5 miles from my house.
Edmunds is the way to go, but if you want to go to a dealer, I can give you the name of my sales guy, he worked really hard to get me the car and color and if you want a black one, they have several in stock. If you don't want ML, you can still maybe do better than my price, as Lexus of Towson would do $45,000 for an in stock black or white with Navi but no Mark Levinson.
Hope this helps!
