iPhone bluetooth link?
I will be honest. I am sticking with my old razor because I hate having to learn the new format on any new phone. I also dont want drama with the sync of the phone. It sits in my brief case all of the time anyway. No real abuse
I have two issues with my iPhone and bluetooth link (aside from the ridiculous inability to transfer contacts):
1) There is a horrible screeching noise when I make a call from the touchscreen (but not from the phone) that can last up to a few seconds, and
2) When I make the call from the phone, it takes a while to come through the bluetooth link, and usually only does so after the person picks up and answers the phone. It is usually just a second after so I know to just say hi when it connects, but sometimes the person has hung up by then.
So either I get horrible screeching or an annoying pause before the connection. Not showstoppers, but definitely not good.
Are others having these two issues?

Yeah, my 3G IPhone makes the same buzzing noise sometimes in the beginning. Also, sometimes it doesn't go through the speaker when it's ringing. But works fine when it picks up. My old RAZRs and KRZRs worked seamlessly though from beginning to end down to the phonebook transfers.
Anyone have any advice on how to accomplish this on a 2007 ES350? Two different Lexus dealership techies have tried to no avail. Would upgrading the Nav system to current maps (ver 10.1) work? Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I already have a Blcakberry registered and paired with my GS350 - no problems. But when I go to register and pair my Iphone 4, it stays stuck in searching. Anyone have this problem or know a work around?
My iPhone 4 syncs sometimes, and other times it doesn't. Seriously, I've just given up on it though. Literally, it won't work for days, then all of a sudden it will ring through the car speakers. It's really annoying....
I linked them when I first got the car and for about a week, everytime I got into the car it just automatically linked, but now it doesn't. Every blue moon it will link on it's own, but other times, no dice. When i try to link them, it just keeps saying connection failed....
Mine syncs fine - the problem is that when I have an incoming call, it will ring through the speakers maybe 5 seconds later. By the time I am about to press receive, it'll hang up. Really annoying.
Thanks
i don't store any number in my car phone book (security reason), so if anything it's just the number. and as long as the car is stopped (or my override on), one ring and i look down and i see the caller id already. so i am often able to know who i call (if i remember the number) before picking up
Ok, let me be a bit more specific.
The problem that I am having is that when I receive a phone call, I will only hear it ringing through my car speakers (and the caller ID on the screen as well) after about the 5th ring on my iPhone.
This is a big problem for me as by the time I can react to the call, it has already gone to voicemail.
I was wondering if this was a common problem or its something w/ my phone or car.
Thanks.
