After driving the car for about 400 miles the rear has come down to about the same as the front now. I am very vary happy with the ride quality and the fact that I will never have any rubbing problem with this set up. My last car was dumped and I intentionally went with the most conservative lowering spring bec buying itres for 1200 bucks every 15K miles gets old real quick. I did the car show, super street magazine thing before and was really good at that set up, but now I wanted to have a more realistic set up that I would not have to burn through tires with. I wanted a more VIP set up. More boulevard cruisre with bling and attitude than a track/street machine. I love this set up.

The wheels went for 3900 and tires another 1300. I am running a 245/30 front and 275/30 rear. The ride quality even shocked the shop foreman at the dealership who did the install. He said he took the parts manager with him for a ride to show him how stock the ride felt

The car looks great. I am very happy to see that you went with Tein H Techs, becuse thats what I am thinking as well. I am a daily driver and need to worry about rubbing. Mine GS is black as well, but I think I am going to go with brushed with black accents for my wheels.

Thanks you guys I appreciate it. The springs I got for $260 at luxury mods.com. Install went perfectly and the ride quality is amazingly similar to stock. Ive had this annoying vibration since the install that I am trying to get resolved by discount tire. Other than that I am loving the set up.

Did you do Wheels and Springs at the same time? I'd like to know how you are going to isolate the root cause of this vibration now.

A simple question I have seen asked is did you wheel have hubcentric rings to balance them on the hubs?

The car looks great I knew you would be very happy with the H-techs. Nice look and you don't lose the ride at all. If anything, the car has better road feel and handles slightly better. Nice job

Yes the pics were taken in deamy draw park. Good eye man. I am loving the ride with the h techs, good balance, good ride and the kicker... I DONT HAVE TO SPEND 1000 DOLLARS ON TIRE EVERY 15000 MILES. Been there done that. I was a fan of the dumped look until you own a dumped car. I used to burn a set of tire on my old g35 every9 to 10 months with my olld tanabe nf210 . That 3 tenths of an inch is what is going to cost you thousands over the life of the car. Hell its not even the money its the annoyance of having to keep going in to get tires and going back at least once or twice to get the damn things rebalanced. The gs350 weighs about 400 pounds more than the g35 sedan (2003). That means you will absolutely burn through tires faster. The tech at the lexus dealer said he was still able to align the car to within spec with the tein h tech, thats not going to happen with the tanabe. I want the look but I dont want to ruin ride quality. If you want your cake and to eat it too, go with the tein H techs.This is a 50k luxury sedan not a track car . I knew from the day I bought this car that I was going to drop it on some high end wheels, but I also knew this wasnt going to be a show car like my last ride


p.s The car is sitting alot lower in the rear now that they have settled. The pics you are seeing were taken 2 hrs after the car was lowered. I will post more pics later. The easiest way to describe the gap between the wheel and the fender is its a two finger gap. The gap between the fender and the wheel is the width of two of my fingers.
