I did 2.5 years on my 04 IS300. I don't think i'll be going that long this time around I think.

Yes I do unfortunately. I haven't had time to mod the fender liners and the front fender tabs yet.

Great looking car! What tinting % is that? I think that's part of the reason why your car looks so nice. I never saw a white vehicle that looks this great. Do you have any problems (with the cops) with front windows tinted? I heard in California you need a permit to do this. Is this true?

that is true, front tint is illegal in ca. it all depends on your luck, we have never been pulled over for front tint (knock on wood) on our previous 6 cars

I'm running 28% rear (dark) and 35% fronts (medium). I haven't had any issues (knock on wood) as i've ran this setup on my previous Lexus (04 IS300). There is no such thing as having a permit for front window tinting. Front window tint in CA is not permitted at all. Many of us choose to do it for preference.

It's SolarGard Supreme (non metallic). I've used Solargard tint for years on several of my cars. Never had any issue of fading or discoloration.

I heard something like that too. I would think a dermatologist would be able to sign off too, wouldn't s/he?

Yea, you can get a doctor to sign off on it. But they will not risk their practice unless you seriously need it.
