fogs
Illtech,
I would go with the 3000K, 9006 HID bulbs. Reasons as follows:
True that for a millisecond the HID's draw more current but will not burn out your harness. Your fuse will blow long before your harness burns up anyway. After initial start-up, the HID's actually require less current and operate at 35w (less heat) rather than the halogens which require 55w (hotter running). Even so, the light output is 3X great than the standard halogens. Not only are they more efficient energy wise they should last you the life of your car. As far as yellow goes, Whlkev's photo says it all. You can get a plug-and-play HID kit (like the one I got) cheap on e-bay. PM me if you want details.

So is the 3000K HID kit closer to 2GS yellow compared to 2500K Nokya bulbs???
What I've noticed it is that since the low beams must be on in order for the fog to be turned on, it doesn't really add any visibility to me as a driver no matter how the weather is. It does serve the purpose of letting others see me though. But since I drive quite a lot on roads without lights, it would be a nice thing to add visibility at night time. Anybody???

Okay I will update pics in here or another thread. One layer of Aerotect isn't worth a thing. So if you are going to keep stock bulbs you BETTER get two layers. I wish my butt read this thread before ordering.
Not sure will I order another set of go with bulbs.
With lights off you can tell the film is yellow which I don't mind. When they are on, you can barely tell its yellow. I took pics next to the 2GS to compare.
Sigh....... lol
Modding......it leads you to drinking a cold one
