2gs brakes on 3gs?

i asked similar topic in the 2gs forum, but guess i will reverse my question here. i wonder if anyone has tried to put any 2gs brakes on 3gs and if they work? for example the aftermarket bbk for the 2gs, do they fit on 3gs or are the brackets different?
