Is tire for life offered by dealer worth the price?
They offered this to me for $900 (for a GS350). But to get that, I had to also get another add on warranty as well. The cheapest offered was $400 for Clear Coat/Scotchgaurd
The tire deal sounded too good to be true? I there a catch (I thinnk even the combined price is a good deal for tire only)?!

What exactly is the deal? You get free replacement tires for the life of the car? If so, what tires? Is the policy transferable? Certainly $1,300 is a good deal for free lifetime tires, IF they are for good tires that you like, and IF it doesn't require you to drive on a given set until it is completely bold, and the biggest IF you intend to keep the car for at least 70,000 - 80,000 miles.

Tires for life is good, but it usually requires you to service your vehicle at the originating dealer that sold it to you. The tires you get, should be the exact match you currently have on your GS. If the manufacturer doesn't have them available anymore, you get a comparable set of tires.
