Thanks for the reinforcement. I can always do 20x10 with big lips after I get tired of the even fitment. It's just a phase.

On another note......the guy at the manufacturer says I shouldn't use wax on polished wheels. I have always used it on the polished lips I've had but never had a full polished wheel. What do you guys with experience say?

Just as an aside....I came [..] this close to buying these, the new Axis Groove. I like that they are made for the Lexus and GS in particularly. I like the the specs, 20x8.5, 35 offset. The rear is 20x10, 40 offset...I think. I would have done the 8.5 all around which is perfect. The wheels don't have that pop but they are attractive and the fitment would be perfect and the ride would as well.

I contacted the manufacturer of my new wheels to ask for build pics. I was just curious about the build process of multipiece wheels. I thought it would be fun to see the process and it would make the time go faster. I heard back from a guy named Zak who said he would try to get me the pics.
You know what that means.....another thread! Oh goodie!

The Axis Groove rims look nice, but after owning a set of Axis wheels, I wouldn't buy another set. They're not well made and they crack fairly easily. I've had aftermarket rims on every single car I've ever owned in the past 20 years and the only set of rims I've cracked were the Axis rims - TWICE!

I've seen this issue mentioned about Axis rims by others on several different forums as well.

Axis is trying to market and price their rims as a mid to upper-mid tier brand, but their quality is really more on par with the cheaper brands like HP, Konig, Motegi, ADR, etc.

Talked to the dealer, wheels will be done soon. I was told they will be shipped to me a week from today. My impatience grows as the time grows nearer. Let's hope they look as good or better than the images after all I've been through.

Last time was a false alarm, this time the wheels really have been shipped. If their lying to me, I'll cancel the order and start all over again. I'm just that crazy enough to do it. Hopefully, they really are on the way. Superbuytires refuses to give customers tracking numbers. They claim some people have used the number to re-route the shipment and then claim they never got it then demand a refund. I guess it's possible to do that but they should trust me after knowing them since July.

Anyway, looks like 1 more week and I'll be riding on dubs.

Okay but I don't consider my car white. Lexus calls it glacier frost. I call it the sometimes light blue-gray-whitish depending on the light color....with pearl. Whatever it is, it's gonna look good with shiny dubs.
I bought a tripod so that I can get some really nice pics. I can't wait to have some fun pretending to be a pro photographer around town. People usually look in curiosity when they see me taking pics. What are they gonna think now...when they see the tripod.
