Smile lowered 06 gs300 check headlight warning light

I recently lowered my 06 gs300 and now I have check headlight light on. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the light? I'm from Hawaii and nobody knows how to do it. Even lexus dealer.

you need to adjust the hid headlight leveler sensor on the rear wheel. i believe it's on the driver rear side, right by the lower control arm. you need to adjust that so the headlights moves slightly until the warning light goes away

i thought this is pretty common problem. it doesn't happen all the time since it depends on how you lower your car. some people lower their car more in the back, causing the leveling computer to "think" the car is going uphill so the hid shoots down. but it reaches limit and the warning light shows up. at least that's my understanding

this has been a known issues for long, more noticeable on the is300 (i saw more than a few cases). i believe i saw similar questions here in the 3gs forum when it first got started too

it's not hard to adjust yourself. of course assuming that you know what you are looking for
