What would be the brightest bulbs that are available out there. Does the color temps have anything to do with brightness? I am considering changing out my fogs for HID, but am not sure which would project the farthest...Yellow or "White". What would be your recommendations. I guess I am looking for optimum brightness and visibility for the driver...Thanks guys.

nice.. I've always liked the yellow fogs look... I heard they're beneficial vs halogen whites

From a functional standpoint, the 3000k fogs would serve you best. In terms of brightness, the 4300k and 3000k would be the brightest however yellow light will work best in foggy conditions.

What are the factory spec ones? 4300k?? I might just match up my lows with that.. unless I do 6000k lows and 3000k fogs...

yes. OEM is about 4300-4700k.

I would suggest going with our 5000k kit for the fogs if you want to best colour match your OEM HIDs.

Hey, Can you post a pic of the lights shining on the ground at night? I just want to see the visibility that your headlights provide. Please take a pic with the Fogs off...

Thanks!

I will have to take a pic when I get home, but I can tell you this much ..to me I can see much more clearly with the 6000k lights and they shoot out further then the oem I had..I was really surprised at how bright they are with the blue tint.

Steve- Color match the stock driving HID is the 5k for the fogs? So the 5k is a white with a bit of yellow? Whats white with blue tint to it? 6k or the 8k? I don't want it really blue.
Take a look at this:
http://www.xenonvalot.com/nmimage.ph...t=364&title=:: XENONVALOT.COM :: PHOTO GALLERY

THe 6k in this pic looks white, and the 8k looks blue. But that blue looks like the same blue that I swear others have that are 6k. What is your brand 6k closer to in a Lexus housing(being that our housing tends to remove color unlike acura or bmws which tends to show more blue)
