Default Help With Tire Specs!!!

Many of you know from another thread I am waiting on newly ordered wheels. While waiting I'm trying to carefully choose which tires to get. I want Bridgestone RE960AS in 245-35-20. Problem is I keep hearing that size tire will have serious rubbing problem and I should go with 245-30. I like having as much rubber as possible so before I pull the trigger, I want to know what you guys with 20's have to say. Especially those who have tried 245-35-20. I checked every page in the 3GS section but no threads on the subject.

So what's your advise...post pics of the 245-35 and 245-30 so that I can see the difference in height.

Thanks in advance.

Based on these numbers, it should be okay. So I'm confused why people are saying 245-35-20 rubs. 3 millimeter more circumference is so small, I don't see it being a problem. I am going to tape measure the well though but I want to hear real world experience.

Reggiek
I have 245/45/18s and it barely rubs in the plastic molding, so I know the 245/40 19s must rub in the wells, at the back when tire is turned 30 degrees, so the 20s will also give an issue at the 35 profile

No one out there with 20x8.5 wheels with 245-35 tires care to share?
Is this what it's like in the 3GS section? Lot's of viewers but no comaraderie (sp)? No opinions?

I Would Definitely Go With 245/30/20 And 285/25/20 To Ensure That You Will Have No Rubbing Issues.i'm Running 20/8.5 And 20x10.. I Have A Pretty Good Drop With The Jic-vip Coilovers.2-1/2".and No Rubbing Here. I Have Heard Just About Everyone With The 245/35 Have Issues... Just My $.02 ... Also Where In Fla Are You Reggie... Wpb Here... Are You Going To The Jm Meet Next Weekend??
