Default GS350 feedback?

I am considering trading in my car for a GS350. A few questions:

1) Have the rattle issues been resolved?
2) Is Lexus Link available, and is it any good (comparable to OnStar)?
3) Other than screen resolution, is the NAV system any better?

Thanks!

2) Lexus Link is a custom order item from the factory. Most cars you find at a dealership will not have Lexus Link unless someone special ordered it with the car and then backed out or sold the car back to the dealership.

Yes the Gen5 would be an improvement over the Gen4 found in your 06. Go play with one and see for yourself!

As far as rattles, I can't comment on that, sorry.

I have compared the 2, there are many little changes that make the upgrade worthwhile
more power
better brakes
gen 5 nav
ability of stock deck (non ML) to play mp3 cds

I would wait till 08, there are a few changes worth waiting for, especially if you already are in a gs. If you need one now, 07 is fine.

As for rattles, I dont think they have been addressed...

What changes do you know about for the 2008 models? So far nobody on the forum has been able to produce that information.

There are speculations but I'd suggest if you can wait, then wait. If you don't see anything outstanding with the 08, get the 07's with a great discount!

This list looks like the originator's wish list. I also doubt a face/butt lift will take place in just 2 years??

Back to this thread’s question:
1. I notice couple rattle locations on my 07 GS350. One at the rear windshield (minor) and another at the front dash behind the passenger side glove box.
2. No idea
3. The navigation is pretty good compare to my other Pioneer AVIC-D1 after market navigation.

08 will be the 3rd year of probably a 5 year cycle now. There are more new models coming out over the next few years.

I think Lexus will tweak the GS a little each year until a new model comes out. They're selling only about 1,600-1,700 per month and sales are down vs. last year, certain tweaks/updates might help to stimulate sales.
