Play mp3 cd

Hello again. I have a 06 430 with navi and ML dvd system. Is there a trick to make it play mp3 cds?

Yea, buy another car. Just kidding. I too have an 06 GS430 and it does NOT play MP3 CD's. Sorry. You can make DVD-A CD's from your MP3 files but it is a pain and doesn't work very well either.

My 07 GS350 plays them great. Just take say, 5 albums, and burn them as data with Nero. Plays perfectly...

'06 models do not support mp3, while '07 does. Makes me wonder if this could be "fixed" by simply installing '07 audio module into '06 model?
