Default Buying a new GS

Hello everyone,
Im in the process of buying a new lexus GS 350...but I hear that there are revisions coming out with the new 08 model...do you guys think i should wait off on buying it until the new model comes in...are they significant revisions if any? When is the 08 GS due out? The only problem is that I need a car soon...what do you guys think...

Default Not too much refining left to do

I have had my 07 GS350 for about 2 months now and I love it.
I don't think there is much left to refine. You can always change the style of things or switch things around, but that isn't always necessary. Its often to simply change things and get us to want the "new" one, and pay more for it.
This is a wonderful car. The only thing I would hold out for would be the 460 engine if that was your plan. I think that would make the ultimate GS.
The 350 is quite fast enough though.

Good Luck!

The third 'sticky' from the top of this page should answer some of your questions. From what I understand, there are minor revisions to the exterior (front and rear) and the side mirrors will incorporate directional lights. Mechanically, the GS 350 appears to remain a carry-over and the GS430 gets a bump to the GS 460.

Anyone have anything to add?

my advice...

if your 2007 GS350 is on the lot or coming in no later than two months from now- 07 should be fine.

but if you have to wait more than 3 months...

get an '08

My lease is up in August. Do you think the '08 will be out by then? Do you think they will change the Navigation System to be HDD instead of DVD, plus will they add Real Time Traffic?

I would say if your lease is up in August- you might be out of a car for maybe a month.

But I have known deals where the dealership let a new buyer keep a loaner for a few weeks to a month- it all depends on what the dealership is making.
