Who needs a hybrid?

Between Wahiawa and Haleiwa there is a long stretch of road. all open fields. you can go fast, but there are cops parked on the side to slow people down. Last year we had 4 people killed on that road. Mostly kids speeding and going over the median hitting on coming cars at night.
Good places to eat? Hmm... I hardly go Haleiwa. Aoki shave ice. Kuaaina(I think is the name) makes sandwitches with sweetbread.

Oh, I was referring to the highway between Haliewa and Honolulu. There is a lot of passing going on around those 2 lane roads so probably not the best place to speed. It seemed that highway was flowing around 75 mph or so going into the city. I don't recall the exact highway because my wife is the navigator when we go there. Also, any good places to eat in the city? We pretty much tried most of the places on the North Shore and I came to the conclusion that there really isn't anything good there. Even Matsumoto's is a disappointment. I've had better shaved ice from the hot dog cart in front of my local Home Depot.
Going back to my original topic, I achieved my new personal best today! 29.3mpg on a 300 mile drive today with avg speed of 80mph. Very impressed with the mileage I'm getting considering the impressive passing power!
