I've said it many times, this is the first generation of Lexus hybrids. There will be drawbacks. As time goes, technology will continue to improve to minimize the negatives of hybrids.

15 years from now, you'll be able to say "I had the first Lexus sedan hybrid with a 7 cubic foot trunk, you don't know how good you have it"

Just out of curiosity, what kind of stuff do you guys carry that would deem the trunk too small?

I don't really see it as much of a problem as you guys seem to. Of course, I don't really put to many things back there.

We had an ES330.The first time she went shopping in the GS,she commented that the trunk was small.

I'm curious to know if a baby stroller would fit. Not those tiny thin fold up ones but a regular size one.

Its better than an M5.

I had no spare tire due to the quad exhaust.

You can't do a donut due to the brake calipers.

So..... put an 245/18/40 full size tire in a small trunk and see what happens.

The GS is like the grand canyon to me...
