Lousy Seat Heaters
well I live in Chicago and today there was a high of 13 degrees and a low of -6 so let's just say I need them more than you Cali / Texas guys.
the seat heaters in my GS usually take about 5 minutes to really heat up, but when they do I immediately have to turn them off because otherwise I'm sweating. My wife usually leaves hers on about halfway all the time, but we both have noticed it takes about 5 min before they kick in.

G - my experience exactly...I hate taking my car in unless I know they will be able to help.
Anyone done this? That is, taken car in to get the seat warmers adjusted up...or for that matter down?

I dont think the heated seats are adjustable, I try another 08 GS while I was at the dealer once and it was the same. Maybe its the Lexus lawyers at work again, they want to make sure no one sue them for burning themself on the seats
I think mine does not work that well either. my 07 tl-s seat heaters had to be turned off after 10 min because it started to sting my *** because it got so hot. These seat warmers get luke warm. i know in florida the few days it gets cold here its ok, but if i had lived in NY or Chicago, these things would not have worked
The heated seats are design for warm climates and the dashboard rattles in the cold.
