Will there be a GS460 AND GS-F?
From what I've gathered, the "F" version from 5.0 liter V8 cranks out about 425 hp. The GS460 should crank out no less than the LS460's 380hp.
Honestly, I don't think the extra 45hp doesn't sound much.
Supposedly, Lexus/Toyota gets assistance from Yamaha to tune the new V8 for the "F" version. Yamaha is known for high-revving engines (I believe the 8000rpm from the Celica was with the help from Yamaha).
8000rpm from the V8 should crank out more than 500hp ... now that's something.

Lexus will show the IS-F at the Detroit autoshow in January. It comes with the tuned version of the 5.0 liter V8 from the LS600h. Some articles speculate 425 hp. That will give the new M3 a run for its money.

For the GS-F to successfully compete against the M5, it needs 500+ horse power.

the gs460 is a done deal, coming late next year.
the gs-f is in the talking stages, it really depends on how the is-f does as to whether or not you will ever see the gs-f

Okay here we go....
GS 460 (4.6 V-8) will clearly have AT LEAST 380hp..not sure will it keep the 6 speed or get the new 8 speed auto.
LS 600L h uses the new 5.0 V-8 but be de-tuned for better economy, thus Lexus saying "more than 430hp" which is not much over the IS-F.
IS-F uses same 5.0 V-8 NOT de-tuned anywhere from 415-425hp.
Speculation
GS-F may OR may not come, depending on the success of the IS-F. Lexus is still a business and makes more decisions based on business cases and not on image/soul cases. Not sure but I believe the 5.0 might be able to be bore and stroked to 5.5 liters, thus more power.
I do agree a jump from 380-425hp does not sound like much.
Let us also look at the competiton.
Audi has a V-10 in its new S-8 that makes LESS power than the old V-8 tt unit. Audi's V-10 makes only I think 10 more hp than the V-8 in the RS-4 (which makes 420hp). True 2 different cars in execution but you can see how sometimes cars with similar power in different segments still are offered.
Also remember that Lexus is about quality and reliability and the higher strung these engines, the more likely you are to have problems. And Lexus/Toyota believe in win/win situations when it comes to people and the environment.

the **** is very nice, handles MUCH better, but I could even do an extra button that is more like my 550i, in cornering.
and maybe some side bolsters that inflate on turns to stop you from leaving seat sideways. help hold me better.
let's go lexus...
