I am thinking about purchasing the 2007 GS when my lease ends on my current Lexus. However, I am curious to know what year the last model change occurred for the GS? I hate when I lease a car and the model changes during the lease period. Thank you in advance for your help.

 

The last model change for the GS is 2006. The current GS was launched spring last year as an early 2006 model.

 

A rep at lexus told me they are planning complete body change every 5 years as oppose to 6-7 years.

 

The GS will last 7-8 years like the last model. That is why Lexus launched the GS with different engines and then upgraded. To keep things fresh.

 

If that's the case then I will consider buying the New GS350 or the LS460.
