Default Wheel Option Question

Looking at the Lexus website (in the Build your Lexus section), it appears that the 18" sport wheels come with the car if you select the ML/Nav option. Is this correct?

Thanks.

Yes, at least for my 2007 that is how they come be default if you spec the loaded version. I am replacing the 18" sport wheels on mine with G-Spiders, which are $$ optional from your dealer.

Thats what I thought, but I swear I saw a loaded 07 with the standard 17" wheels on the dealer lot the other day. Interesting.

I believe it depends on whether or not the GS is a loaded AWD or RWD. My AWD is coming loaded (w/ML, Nav, etc.) but its got the 17" wheels. I'm trying to swap the 17's with a set of GS430 18's (see the conflicting info I'm getting from dealers in another thread just posted), so we'll see how it goes.

My loaded 2007 GS350 RWD with Nav/ML also came with the 17s, which is what I plan on keeping for the winter months.

I thought I read that the 18" GS430 rims are an option on the RWD model only.

Hmmmmmmmm ... I think I goofed. I just looked at my vehicle inquiry report sheet, and it shows my car with 17's standard and, marked as optional, 18" summer tires with spare for 950.00 list. Sorry... didn't mean to confuse anyone... <just smack the noob here ;-) >

It is, but that doesn't stop you, or sometimes the dealer (if they're nice), from putting the 18's on the AWD model.
