Default Switching Dealers

I did a seach on this subject, came up with 0. Has anyone bought their cars at one dealership and have another do some warranty work? Were you treated the same? or given a "why don't you take it back to where you bought it"

I bought mine at a dealership out of town because my local dealer did not have any cars available. They are ranked #54 in the western region and I ended up going to a dealership that was #1 in the US. The inventory and selection of colors/options for immediate delivery was incredible. Picked both of them up last Sat and went in Mon of this week to make an appt at my local dealership because of a defective rear seatbelt in the ES. No problem at all, they treated me very well, made an appointment for this coming Mon and ordered the part without even seeing the car so I would not have 2 visits to repair the car. They even scheduled a Lexus loaner vehicle for me.

you should have no problem. don't think of warranty work as something that the dealership LOSES money on. actually for warranty work most of the time dealership makes even more money.

Exactly, I think the dealerships want you to come to their dealership even if it warranty work and you did not purchase the car from them. They want your business in the future in purchasing a new car or in the services itself

Same situation as 2thfixr. Got mine from NJ but go to my local dealer in NY for service and all is well.
