Default GFM Color question-

I was wondering, with the Glacier Frost Mica color, does anyone see a problem down the road if you need to do some touch up due to a rock chip etc...? What about a fender bender and you need a new bumper blended in?

OR

Is paint just paint and regardless of the color or the amount metallic flakes it will all touch up and blend in the same?

It does look like it hides chips and scratches really well but was just wondering about the above as there will be a blemish that needs touch up paint sooner or later...

Thanks,

Excellent post, I wondered the same thing. It would seem that this color would be nit picky about matching due to its unique properties. Any paint experts or GFM owners with experience with touchup or bodywork on their ride want to chime in?

I've already had some bumper and repainting work done (some &%#!$ backed into me while I was IN MY GARAGE) and my body man had absolutely no problems matching the paint. The most important thing, he told me, was to make sure you use the 074 Toyota/Lexus paint. As long as you use the OEM paint, you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, thats what I was going to say. I don't see how the paint wouldnt match if you got the actual paint that Lexus uses. Might cost a bit more but atleast its a 100% perfect match. ~
