Thanks to everyone that contributes to making forums like CL what it is. It's invaluable to have a resource like this. I've had Lola since May so sorry for not posting sooner. Not a huge fan of chrome wheels but I got a great price on the Lowenharts (and the LD5 is a classic design) - I couldn't pass them up. I do wish the GS could take more of a Benz or Beemer offset - oh well. Also I wish they could have designed the GS to take a 22 like the Infiniti M35/45 and pretty much every other sedan out on the market. As far as the GS 300 - I do wish I went with the 430 or waited for the 350. The 300 is okay but I do feel it's weakness in slight up-hill accelertion and that "feel" and "sound" just isn't there. At least the 300 isn't a "dog". I also wish they made the rear seats more comfortable, more leg room, etc. - have you ever sat back there; it's not that comfy! You'd think with such a small trunk they'd have more room back there. I still feel that Acura/Honda and even Infiniti make a better NAV but the Lexus NAV is a marginal "compromise" of the others - so I can't complain to much. On the other hand - the GS styling makes the car what it is - I love the lines! And it's a bunch of little style cues and overall choice of materials/finish that make the car a "Lexus GS". Wish I went a shade or two lighter on the tint but I just love how it feels to drive with all that UV/heat reduction at that grade. Also, still debating on lowering her a bit more (with DF's or Coils) and wether to get a bodykit... Over all I'm pretty happy with Lola. Well, check out the pics and tell me what you guys think -good and bad welcome.

The Body Kit I would love to Get!

This is why I wish the GS could fit 22's! Maybe I should have got myself a M45.....

Wow, car looks great. Love the classic design of the LD5 and the drop is perfect IMO. I went with the 20" Diablo Lionharts (exact same wheel design), but I have the AWD and didn't have any intentions on lowering mine until I saw yours. I'm getting tempted now...damn you

fr:245/35/20 (20x8or8.5 not sure!!?!?!) rr:275/30/20 (20x10 again not sure!) - Tanabe NF's dropped it down at least 1.5 - 2 inches. I honestly think it would look alot nicer dropped down just 0.5in lower however - I don't have any serious issues of rubbing. I'm sure others that have dropped it lower do have clearance and rubbing issues. I don't scrape the front lip going up and down driveways or parking I beams and curbs when you slam a car. As far as drop from just $200 springs - it's a very nice stance. The ride is still very comfortable but it is a bit bouncier over dips in the road to that of the factory suspension setup. It's a balance of practicallity and asthetics that you have to find when dropping your car right. Some cars can take any drop you give it - not the case with the GS.

Ive seen someone here in Philly with 22's, but IMO it doesnt look good at all. Way to big.

Matter of fact I think there are pics of a GS with 22's in the Modification thread.

Your car looks great the way it is.

Bigger wheels doesnt always mean better.
