So for those of you who are passing the 150 MPH mark in the 3GS I am assuming that you have somehow bypassed the limiter and done some pretty major mods? If you got it up around 170 MPH SanseiGS43 you must have added around 100 HP? What kinds of things are you doing to your motors to achieve these speeds? Just curious.

Just got past the 1000 mile break-in period not that long ago.

So far, just gotten up to around 90ish on the freeway. Not many sections to just cruise for a good distance here in Hawaii. Sometimes I wish I still lived on Washington where I could get my old 4Runner up to 90-100 for many stretches of I-5 and I-90.

yeah strange... i would have thought the limiter would have kicked in at around 150, but it never did. the only thing that stoped me from going faster was the rev limiter...

Takes 2-3 minutes to get to 125mph? Shouldnt take that long...maybe a minute and a half...maybe 2. I hit 110+ in my 1GS all the time, it doesnt take me long either.

What i meant was that after hitting the 125mph mark i stayed on it for 2-3 mins

How did the car handle at that speed for that period of time?

I noticed that in my friend's 540 going about 110 in a flat stretch of I-5, it didn't feel that much different than going normal freeway speeds. In my other friend's TL, it seemed like any slight bump would cause us to loose control. Hard to describe.
