It sounds great ! once you get up to about 3-4 grand there is a nice whistling sound to it. You definitely feel a power gain low and top end.

I have my old Lowenheart 20" BR5's from my old 2002 GS430 that I retrofitted to my 2006GS430, Just had to grind the front calipers a little which was very easy being that they are made of aluminum. I'll take some pics soon as I buy new tires. My Yokohamas wore out way to quick on my old car thats cause when I dropped my car I forgot to have the toe reset It sucks being dumb..lol

So was the $10 upgrade needed for extra breathing and did it help? Did you just add the pipe or was there and ECU too?

the upgrade was dryer hose and it did make a significant difference. As far as the ecu remap goes, i going to try to do it in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the update. The Injen intake pipe "for the moment" seems like the best fit for the 3rd gen gs, I could see why you wanted to get more air flow to the intake though. I had a SRT intake on my 01' 430 and loved it but it doesnt look like it would fit with the 06'. When you get the ECU remap done post how it turns out, I would love to hear your results. Thanks for your posts.
