Talking New GS300 AWD Owner!

Hi All. I just purchased a 2006 GS300 AWD with Nav for a tad more than $4K off Sticker. Sticker was $51.8K and I bought it for $47.6K, plus tax, ttl & registration. From what I have read here, that is a pretty good deal. It helps to buy on the last day of the month! Black/Black - hard to keep clean but I love black.

I am picking up my car tomorrow night. I will post pictures on Tuesday. This is my first Lexus, coming from an Audi A6. I never considered Lexus because of RWD (except for the ES which didn't appeal to me), but now that the GS is available in AWD it became a contender. The dealership actually let me take the GS300 home overnight last night to show my wife and for an extended test drive. That extended test drive sold me. And the Nav and the rest of the technology with the car is incredible.

Anyway, I will be hanging out on this board now (goodbye Audiworld.com), so you will be seeing more of StealthAWD here.

Congratulations on your new vehicle.

I am planning to buy an IS 250 AWD in the fall and I was hoping that you might share which dealer you purchased from as well as any experiences with other dealers around here.

Thanks

Default Thanks for the welcome....

I purchased my Lexus at Ira in Danvers. Great experience...highly recommended. Got a great deal due to my expert negotiating skills (lol) and it being the last day of the month when I purchased. You can email me for more info if you want.

Loving this car - people at work were blown away by it.

Welcome to CL StealthAWD and congrats on your awesome new car.

Care to share what made you make the switch from Audi and/or an Audi vs. Lexus comparison?
