Default Performed the DVD/Nav override?

It's my belief that with the DVD/Nav Override enabled, the transmission responds sluggish/delayed during mid range driving.

I've noticed this several times. When the switch to cut the speed sensor wire is in the off position (open), accelerating from a speed of 25-40 seems felt by a delayed response from the transmission.

Anyone notice the same thing?

Just took a drive, no problems here doing as you said. Dont think by-passing the Nav speed sensor would efect the trans. But who m i 2 say.

It took a long time for me to notice this. So it might have been a progressive thing. I believe Toyota transmissions 'learn' from driving habbits. So it's possible (this is pure speculation, yes I know) the symptoms I'm experiencing are progressed from months of driving. Despite only using it when my wife is in the car with me, there's definitely long periods of time where the switch is open.
