Default Car Cover

Are these the same? The first says it only fits the GS w/o spoilers. I e-mailed Lextasy and they claimed the one they sell will fit the spoiler. Ideas?

Owner of a 2006 GS300 w/ spoiler. The car cover has not changed for the 2006 GS. It will fit with your spoiler. I bought one from Longo. Generics are probably the same

My dealer (Lexus of Portland) gave me an official Lexus cover. Says "Lexus" on front, plastic window in rear where the License plate is; cover bag is sewn to the cover. A nylon like cover. Had it on last week, slight drizzle just beaded up and ran right off. Stuffs cleanly in the bag.

Taking the car in tomorrow for a 1,000 mile check and we're having them change a few of the customer settings. Love this car (GS430). Got 26mpg on a 200 mile trip (mostly freeway). Never got more than 22mpg on our '95 GS300.

That's pretty good gas mileage. I'm getting 18-19 MPG on my GS430 (about 70% highway / 30% city). Probably could get higher MPG, but my lead foot keeps preventing this.

that sounds about right for the mix you said. My strictly in town stuff is 16-18 but still feels good to me considering the V8.

Hey.. You're getting better milage with your GS430 than I am with my GS300... I'm getting (strictly in-town) only about 14-15 while I gather most of my other GS300 compatriots are getting 20 or higher.. I'm putting it in the shop next Thursday to have it checked out.. Seems strange that this vehicle only gets marginally better milage around town than my '96 Chevy pickup (~9-10mpg)...
