How prone is this car to door dings. I am looking at buying one, but it is one of the few cars around without any side body mouldings at all. Got me scared to put down this kind of money.

Wow, who brought this thread back from the dead...it's almost been two years since this happened.

When the damage occurred, I had just picked up my GS a week earlier. Talk about being pissed.

i bet. dang. Sometimes I actually say just leave my car here, don't move it. I give them a 20 or so, they don't get in it. Just leave it there, and it's ready when I am ready to leave.

Why let someone drive your car if it's unecessary? I don't.

I hear you. I hate using valet, but sometimes it can't be avoided, especially here in So. Cal.

Its not just fact that they dent up your beloved Lex. I've had valets jack stuff from my car.

I use the quarter system. I leave exactly 12 quarters in my cupholder. More often then not, a couple come up "missing"

Talk about feel violated, ESPECIALLY after you realize you tipped the BAST***DS!

I've parked blocks away and walked just to avoid valets... so far my car is still valet free!

if you go stand there with a sign saying this restaurant's valet damaged my brand new car and is denying it, im sure the managment will agree to work with you. you can do this legally as a "protest". also, add the resataurant's number to every kind of spam and advetising list you can. add their adress to a whole bunch of advertising subscription. make reservations and dont honor them, anything you can do to make them suffer. :-)
