Default GS300 18" Wheels

If you put the GS430's 18" Graphite wheels on a GS300, will it look exactly the same as the GS430 from the outside? Or are there different suspension setting that'll just make the GS300 look worse?

From what I have seen and based on the past models, it should be fine.

Finding the wheels is going to be the biggest problem.

Buying them from parts dept. at dealer will cost too much. Prices on wheels from dealer are usually too high. It seems the factory knows that most of the factory wheels being replaced (Sold) are being paid for by insurance companies (Claims), so they are priced accordingly.

Good Luck

Give it about half a year or maybe less and you'll start finding sets on ebay

i dont' think there is any difference in the suspension setup, so imho yes if you put on the 18s your car will look like gs430 if you debadge

Should look exactly the same. But good luck finding the 18" 5 spoke graphites. It's not readily available like the 18" G-Spider or Tourmalines.

When I bought my GS300, I mentioned to the salesperson that I wasn't too crazy about the 17" wheels and she mentioned that she just had a customer buy the GS430 and upgrade his wheels to some chrome wheels and he might be willing to sell the wheels (he kept the tires for the new wheels). He seems somewhat amenable to selling, but none of us really knows a fair price for the wheels. Along this line, I have a few questions:

1. Any thoughts on a fair price for a set of the 18" 5-spoke wheels w/o tires?
2. How much degradation of ride comfort are we talking about going with 18" wheels? I am not an overly aggressive driver, so I don't really need them for the handling, I just like their appearance a lot better.
3. If I go with the 18" wheels, which tires would best alleviate my concerns about ride comfort?
4. I might like the 17" wheels a lot better if they were chromed. Any thoughts on whether this is a good or bad idea and how much it might cost to have them chromed?

Thanks
