Default 06 GS Road Test

Seems to be a total lack of any hands-on road tests of the new GS in any of the national or regional magazines or newspapers. Anyone seen one? You usually see a test or 2 a few months before an introduction (scheduled for March but dealers will have previews this month). What's Lexus up to?

This is typical Lexus. The 2nd gen was the same way. THe press got it 1 month before release and they didn't even know a GS 400 was coming. Look for reviews next month. I will also be getting the EVO/CAR/Top gear as usual to get the Euro think of things.

My dealer told me today that a few dealership representatives from a few neighboring states were lucky enough to be chosen to go to Atlanta for the road test..."Road and Drive"...which was last week - and they came back with AWESOME reviews....one of the people was a salesman from the dealership i am buying my new GS from.

Atlanta should have them for viewing mid-month and I hope my connects let me drive the car as well.

06 GS will be landing on Guam this weekend. Hopefully I will get the chance to test drive one early next week. Guam is getting 2 GS430, 2 GS300 AWD and 6 GS300. Can't wait to see them in person.

OK, that's it...we go to Guam for a road test! Who needs Aruba or St. Martin? Any hotel recommendations?

We've have them here already in SoCal first. The hand built pre-production prototypes and of course the production ones that are stuck at the port in Long Beach.
