Guys, dont worry...im going to the houston auto show this friday...heck - you all can even see me on the live webcam...loll I will make the "product specialist" spill the pricing information and get the details on whether the spoiler is standard on GS430's or not. Many of local lexus dealer representatives will be coming to it as well because it is the first time the vehicle will be seen in "cold blood" ...meaning it will be the first display of the new GS to have ever been shown in Texas.

Im definitely going to take some pictures and give you guys the 411 asap when I get back from the autoshow.

My dealer has confirmed that he will have a couple of GS3's on his showroom floor by mid february.

VDIM...Vehicle Dynamics Integrated management system is standard on the GS430. It is the MOST advanced active safety system in the world. Besides controlling braking and traction of each wheel - like VSC does - it adjust the AVS suspension and the all new electronic power steering with variable gear ratio steering (VGRS). All these components work together to produce an incredibly seamless stability enhancement system.

Mark Levinson 7.1 Discrete Surround DVD Audio...This optional system features 14 speakers and an 11 channel amplifier to reproduce sound quality like no car audio ever before.

The GS RWD and AWD have an all new V6 engine with the first application of direct fuel injection and dual VVT-i that acts on both intake and exhaust vavles. The result is more power, a wide torque range, and with the 6 speed transmission and other inhancements, a considerable 20% FUEL ECONOMY IMPROVEMENT.

Also for the first time, Intuitive Park Assist incorporates a Steering Sensitive Clearance Sonar, and the Pre-Collision System (PSC) includes active braking.

If you are on a waiting list, I urge you to stay in contact with your local Lexus dealer for color selction/option selection. Tomorrow they are supposed to release the actual packages, availabiltiy/firm pricing. Full brochures will arrive at dealerships on Feb 21.

Wow, these are very attractive prices! Thanks for the info Elizabeth!!

I guess wood is standard after all! That's a good thing.

Now bring on the option packages!

Product Specialst probably means "actor" aka "model" for the show. I am pretty confident that Elizabeth will have more info on the cars than they would.

He is asking "Will low and high beams be HIDs"?

The reason many car makers don't have high beam HIDs is b/c it takes a few seconds for the HID gas to heat up enough to intensify, so if you flash someone or flick them on/off due to on coming traffic, you wouldn't really use it to its potential as the light would be on/off instead of just on.

It hasn't been officially stated, but I doubt it since everyone would already know about it, no?

Those are Canadian e-brochures. From the interior dimension specs, it looks like it'll have less room than the M and slightly more room than the RL.

Wonder if we'll get the passenger memory seat here too.
