Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2006 GS430 yesterday, and I’m having problems with what was mentioned in the title. Today the car gave me a P/S, TC, and VSC light while on the freeway, my steering wheel then became very stiff to turn. Once I got home I turned the car off and back on and everything returned to normal. I pumped gas and hopped on the freeway again and the lights and issues came back again. Previous owner told me he replaced the power steering module, I’ve also seen it could be an alternator issue. Any and all help would be appreciated, thank you!

 

check to see what kind of error codes are in the system first thing, and go from there. if you don't have a scanner, most parts stores will do it for free.
