Hi guys. I have a 2007 GS350 AWD. I noticed that when i floor it, my rpm goes up and i can hear the engine revving but my speed doesn’t go up. If i am accelerating normally, there are no issues. I get a burning smell too. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

 

sounds like a slipping transmission to me

 

is that a major pricey fix?

 

yup! but I would get it properly diagnosed for sure. Have you checked the level/condition of your transmission fluid?
