Quick question about small leak
Hey everyone. 2006 GS430, 196k miles. Never leaked a drop of anything in its life.
The car is parked in my home garage every night from 6 pm to 6 am, sometimes longer if I work from home. The garage floor is completely clean. Our garage spring broke the other day, so I had to move the car out of the garage onto the driveway, which is on an incline, not too steep, maybe 15% grade. It sat there for about 15 hours, and I moved it back in the garage yesterday. This morning I just noticed a decent sized spot on the driveway (maybe an 8" circle) where my car was parked, close to the front passenger side wheel. The car was parked in the garage overnight and the garage floor is perfectly clean.
Is there something about parking the car on an incline that could manifest a leak? I know for sure that my front right shock is leaking, but I've never seen anything on the floor of the garage and this is the first time I've ever seen anything that would indicate a leak anywhere. I know, I know, take it to a shop, have them put it up on a lift, etc., but I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this situation where something leaks out when on a small incline but not when the car is on a flat surface. Could it be the hydraulic fluid from the shock? I wouldn't think that would make it's way down to the ground, not like this.
Any thoughts? Thank you.
